This page is dedicated to those Canoga Park High School Hunters who gave the last full measure of devotion, so that we may enjoy the freedom that we do today.

As they were the inspiration for this entire website, a special dedication to my friends: Robin Annis, Bruce Teague and Jim Lega.  Rest in peace, you have earned it.

Everyone below knew they might not come back, but they went anyway.

This is the price of our freedom. How do you thank such people.

WORLD WAR II AND KOREA

Canoga Park High School WWII Plaque

LT. Byron Stenen’s B-24 bomber disappeared in the jungles of New Guinea, on Oct. 9, 1944.  The plane was found by local natives in 2002, with all 9 crewman still aboard.  LT. Stenen and his crew are now buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
